IMDEC 20278 – International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference

The International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (IMDEC) will return to Accra, Ghana on 6-7 July 2027, bringing together African and international naval leadership to address maritime security challenges across the continent.
Set against the strategic backdrop of the Gulf of Guinea, IMDEC 2027 will continue to serve as a platform for discussing regional threats such as piracy, smuggling, and illegal fishing, while showcasing the latest advancements in naval technology and defense systems.
The two-day event will host high-level defense stakeholders and security officials to foster operational readiness and promote technological modernization of Africa’s naval forces.
